Abstract
In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers and peace be
upon the last of the Messengers, Muhammad, and upon his good and
pure family, and his chosen companions.
And yet:
Grammar is one of the most important sciences of the Arabic
language, and the most useful one since it was established by Imam Ali
(peace be upon him) and it is still expanding with the expansion of the
field of civilization and the multitude of its tributaries. This resulted in the
emergence of schools and theories that dealt with language from several
sides, the latest of which was the emergence of linguistics and with its
attempts to get out of the sentence, which for centuries has been the
focus of linguistic-grammatical study in particular.
Which grammar has been confined to since Sibawayh, until it was
born in the late sixties of the twentieth century, the science of (text
linguistics), which revolutionized these studies by calling and tendency to
study the text as a comprehensive linguistic unit that may be integrated
beyond the study of the sentence. From here came the idea of studying
the Qur’anic text according to the theory of text linguistics, and I chose
from the Qur’anic text a group of Qur’anic surahs that agree with each
other with a set of features, so the title of the dissertation became
(textual coherence in AL-Musabbihat surahs) and the study is based on
the descriptive-analytical approach.
As for the work plan, the research comes in three chapters
preceded by a preface, ended with a conclusion contains its results.
The preamble studies the origins and origins of this science with
the definition of AL-Musabbihat surahs. As for its three chapters, the first
comes talking about grammatical consistency with its types and tools
divided into four sections: the first deals with the referral method with its
tools, the second was devoted to deletion and its types, the third topic
comes to connection and its types, and the fourth topic It is devoted to
substitution and its role in achieving textual coherence. the second

chapter studied lexical consistency, and it is divided into two topics,
namely repetition, and coherence.
The last chapter (the third ) is concluded with harmony (semantic
appearance) and it was two sections: the first talked about the semantic
relations linking in the deep structure, and the second studies, the
subject of the discourse and the arrangement of its events, then came to
the conclusion, containing the most important findings of the research.
The research has benefited from a group of ancient and modern
sources. The old ones included the old dictionaries, including Al-Ain,
Lisan Al-Arab, and others as well as the old books of interpretation, such
as Alkashaaf. the modern ones, such as Al-Tahrir and Al-Tanweer. In
addition to the ancient grammar and language books such as the book
by Sibawayh Al-Usul in Grammar and others, and the modern ones such
as the meanings of grammar and others, especially modernity books for
studies of the linguistics of the Arabic and Western texts such as Text,
Discourse, and Procedure by de Beaugrand, Discourse Analysis by
Brown and Yule, and Text Linguistics: An Introduction to Discourse
Harmony by Muhammad Khattabi, Text Texture Research on the
Vocabulary, Textual Linguistics Theory and Practice by Muhammad al-
Faki, and Introduction to Text Linguistics by Ilham Abu Ghazaleh and
other sources.
The research comes up with a set of results, including:
Consistency appeared in all its means and tools, evident from
lexical consistency, such as lexical accompaniments, synonyms,
antonyms, and others, as well as grammatical consistency such as
omission, referral, substitution, and others, as well as the text’s
consistency, coherence, and compatibility in (AL-Musabbihat), although
the means differed in determining those harmonious criteria. The
glorified surahs in their harmony on a set of semantic relations contained
in the blessed texts that linked the concepts, as well as the textual
structures and the subject of the discourse. And Praise be to Allah, the
