dc.description.abstract	The Holy Qur’an, the immortal, miraculous text, has been the focus of attention of researchers and scholars since its issuance until the present era, and it will remain a destination for knowledge and scholars until the Day of Judgment. Any study and research is not devoid of importance and benefit, and this degree of importance is determined by the desire for research and questioning. It is no secret that this desire was behind our choice of the lexical meaning in the Holy Qur’an. To control and define the topic under consideration, we sought to choose the lexical meaning in interpreting the surrounding sea. The search for lexical meaning in interpreting the surrounding sea through lexical connotation is what defines our topic. The literariness of the interpretive language, and the artistry of the interpretive horizon linked to the Qur’anic horizon, which has a lexical-semantic character and breadth of expression, tempts the researcher to explore this depth. The text is the context of fertile meaning, and the Qur’an builds it according to a special system, as it was revealed in a clear Arabic language, not in a clear Arabic language. Its structures extend over the expanses of the language, and are not confined to the crucible of rules. Therefore, the text is considered a group of verbal events with meaning and communicative purpose. Understanding the text depends on a group of clues, the most important of which is (lexical connotation), the subject of my thesis, as it is one of the basic criteria that determine the value of the intended pronunciation. The Holy Qur’anic text is a beautiful fabric of words and phrases that are arranged in an organized, harmonious structure, dealing with a topic or multiple topics in a performance that is distinguished from the patterns of daily speech and non-literary writing by its aesthetics that rely on imagination, rhythm, imagery, suggestion, and symbolism. Therefore, lexical significance was considered an important entry point to reach thestudy of The meaning and its definition, and linguists and commentators have used it as evidence to give preference to the meaning of the word. The Qur’an dominates the entire language, whether it has been expelled from it or not. The existence of multiple and diverse interpretations of the Holy Qur’an is the best evidence of the practical stability of the meaning of the meaning. As all interpretations seek to determine the Qur’anic meaning, whether from single or compound words, or from the context. He has the absolute right to present it according to what the situation requires. Either he presents it according to the supposed origin of the language’s structures and rules, or he presents it with stylistic variation. He talks about the supposed origin of language and grammar.
