| dc.description.abstract | Context theory, in its modern concept that arose in the linguistic lesson, brought about that paradigm shift in semantics and diverted its course to the point of clarifying the meaning in a comprehensive manner for all phonemic, morphological or grammatical sciences that represent linguistic texts and with all the circumstances surrounding the text, social, political, cultural, or historical. And this theory worked on the formation of the lining supporting the pronunciation that provides it with condensed meanings that may be vague to the recipient or confined to the mind of the speaker that does not reach the other. It reveals the meanings inherent in the text on the one hand, and the intentions of the speaker and the participants in the verbal event on the other hand, enhancing their ability to penetrate into the depth of the recipient's feelings and thoughts, in order to rearrange them and crystallize them, creating the desired effect that the originator of the discourse aims for. The commentators of Nahj al-Balaghah adopted these implications in their treatment of the texts of the Imam (PBUH) of high eloquence and meticulous explanation, giving them that comprehensiveness that I intended to show through analysis and directing textual and non-textual clues to the discourse and the evidence adopted for the commentators to produce the meanings that show the speaker's purpose and the effect of the situation in conjunction with the commentator's explanation to work the appropriate mixture of text with explanations. The nature of the study required that it be an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. The introduction included two parts: the first / Al-Sharh’s approach in adopting the indicative context, and I did not mention what is related to their life and their author due to the study of a number of modernists of it in their studies. And the second / the effect of context in directing the meaning, and I did not overlook the breadth of this theory and the large number of studies that fulfilled its contents with explanation and clarification .As for the chapters of the thesis, the first chapter: the linguistic context, and the first chapter includes (the effect of phonemic context in directing the meaning). I presented it in three sections, the first: the effect of vocal intonation, the second: the effect of the succession of vowels and consonants , and the third: the effect of vocal mutations. The second chapter: The effect of the morphological context in directing the meaning and presented it in three sections, the first: the increase in the actual form, the second: the derivative changes of the nominal form, and the third: the numerical changes in the nominal form (plural fractionation). And the third chapter: The effect of the grammatical context on guiding the meaning and presenting it in three sections, the first: the semantic component of the syntax , the second: the semantic component of the referral of the pronoun, and the third: the semantic component of the preposition prescription. The second part represented the non-linguistic context or the context of the situation and included two chapters . The first: the cultural context and presented it in three sections, the first: the impact of religious data, the second: the impact of literary data, and the third: the impact of social and customary data on the Arab environment. The second: the historical context of three sections, the first: the impact of the context on revealing the political reality, the second: its effect on revealing the participants in the political reality, and the third: its effect on revealing political facts. . The study ended with a conclusion that included its most remarkable findings.
