dc.description.abstract | The texts of the book Nahj al-Balaghah and its letters are rich texts and sources for research and study from different sides, they possess a moral process, and an endless semantic radiation, which is the immortal miracle of the imam, and the first creativity of Arabic and its optimum after the Holy Qur’an. The great value that these texts manifest, and because the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) preserved the language by following its laws and adhering to its conditions and special features, and linguistic methods were not a religion that he should adhere to and be keen on, as the soul’s eagerness for life, Rather, it is a tool for understanding, and in an effort to mix heritage with modernity, and to research heritage by means of modernity, we decided to research this new direction and apply it to the texts of our eternal heritage. And since the words of the Imam (peace be upon him) were described as ((without the words of the Creator, and above the words of the creature)), I found in myself an overwhelming desire that pushes me towards the journey of the depths of this immortal journey, because it is a book with different goals, so I realized when my supervisor referred to me to study (The Imam’s Letters). (peace be upon him) to Muawiyah, a study on the grammar of the text). As for the scientific value that this study is intended to have - God willing - it is to reveal the linguistic means that make the messages of the Imam (peace be upon him) a self-contained unit, distinct from others, interconnected with each other, through the search for how they are interconnected. The text, and its coherence through its component procedures, and it searches for the purposes that the author of the text wants to convey, as well as the events accompanying those messages, and the extent to which these messages are affected, and overlap with other texts. The nature of the study required that it consist of an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion. As for the preamble, it is an introduction (for the research), and an explanation of the related terms mentioned in its title, and it came in two parts, the first part of which included a statement of the concepts of grammar and text, and the first presuppositions of this term and its causes, and the second part included the concept of the text, while the chapters of the letter we dealt with in the chapter The first and second (normative, coherence and consistency) that relate to the text itself, The first chapter included three sections: the first topic was concerned with phonemic consistency, the second topic was lexical, and then grammatical consistency. Was he a recipient, and it included three topics: the first is the criterion of intentionality, which is concerned with the producer of the text, the second is admissibility, and the third is informational, which are related to the future of the text. Abstract The study ended with a conclusion that included the most prominent findings of this study. As for the sources on which this study relied, they were distributed among the traditional grammar books, text books and analysis of modern texts, both foreign and Arabic, as well as the books of Nahj al-Balagha, and explanations of Nahj al-Balaghah. Towards the translated text and Arabic as an essential tributary, the first of which is the book (Text, Discourse and Procedure) by de Beaugrand, translated by Dr. Tammam Hassan, and two books (Van Dyck) (text and context), and (text science: an interdisciplinary approach), and a book (discourse analysis) by Brown and Yule, and other books I can't talk about all of them, As for the Arabic books, the first of them is the book of Muhammad Khattabi (The Linguistics of the Text: An Introduction to the Harmony of Discourse), which is a translation and study of the book (Coherence in English) by Halidi and Ruqayya Hassan, and the book of Dr. ), the book of Muhammad al-Shawish (The Origins of Discourse Analysis in Arabic Grammar Theory), the book of Dr. Sobhi al-Fiqi (text linguistics, an applied study of Meccan surahs), the book of Dr. Azza Shebl (the linguistics of the text), and the book of Al-Azhar al-Zinad (textual text), as well as Dr. Saad Maslouh's research (Towards an Agronomics of the Poetic Text)...etc. In addition to the traditional grammar books such as Sibawayh’s book (died 081 AH), the book “Ayyar al-Sha’ar” by Ibn Tabataba al-Alawi (d. 233 AH), and the Book of Characteristics by Ibn Jinni (d. 293 AH) ... etc. The thesis relied on a group of explanations of Nahj al-Balaghah, the most important of which are the explanation of Habib Allah al-Khoei called (Minhaj al-Baraa’ah), the explanation of Ibn Abi al-Hadid, and the explanation of Sheikh Nasser Makarim al-Shirazi called (Nafhat al-Wilayah), and Safwat al-Nahh al-Balaghah’s explanations, al-Arkan al-Tamimi. As for the method used in this study, it is the descriptive analytical method, which is based on the description and analysis of phenomena based on the mechanisms and means adopted in that. It should be noted that in documenting these texts, I relied on the version of the approach that was set by Dr. (Subhi Saleh). | |
